VX Convergence is a monitoring terminal and an auditable record of public data series. It shows where each series stands and how that has changed, run by run. It does not say what any market does next. It is not investment advice, and nothing on it is trading, legal or tax advice.
· Everything shown is a mechanical reading of data released by public publishers (central banks, statistics offices, exchanges and regulators). No person and no AI chooses or edits a reading.
· Readings describe the data already published. They are not advice to take, change or close any position, and they are not a substitute for your own judgement or professional advice.
· Publishers revise their data. When a published value changes, the record keeps the old value and the date of the change (the instrument screen counts the revisions).
· The data stays subject to each publisher's own terms. Attribution and licence notices travel with every screen under source notices, and each instrument screen links to its publisher's terms. Do not republish the data except as those terms allow.
· Some series are held back from this view until their licence position is settled. Every screen says how many in one amber line: N series withheld pending licence review. Nothing is withheld silently.
· The terminal is provided as is, during a beta, without any warranty that it is complete, accurate or available at any given time.

| run | one pass of the engine over every enabled series. A run is stored when a reading changed, at most once every 15 minutes. Every screen names its run and when it landed; the RUN picker opens past runs. |
| series / body | one published data series (a yield, a price index, an exchange rate, a positioning report). On the tree and pair screens a series is called a body. |
| as of | the date of the latest observation the publisher has released. A monthly series is weeks behind by design; the date is shown so the age of each number is never hidden. |
| read window | the most recent stretch of observations the engine reads for a series. It is shaded on each tile. |
| direction | the state of the read window, banded against every series of the same cadence in the run: ▲ FORWARD above the upper band, ▼ BACKWARD below the lower band, ◆ OSCILLATING between them, ABSENT when the window holds no reading. The bands are printed on every screen's run line. A direction describes the window just read; it is a record of state, not a call on the next window. |
| wheel / position | each read lands a series at one of 274 positions on the wheel. Series at the same or nearby positions are co-located in that run. |
| CELL | one wheel position: every series there now, by kind, and who has held it over the retained runs (CELL 43). |
| normal / departed | a series' normal is the direction it has held most often. It is departed while its latest direction differs from its normal. Data windows departed counts how many of the publisher's own releases it has been departed for (1 is marked provisional). |
| cluster | series that landed within a few positions of each other. Its age is the number of consecutive runs the same members have stayed together. Adjacency only: no distance and no correlation. |
| crossing | the meeting of two series in the same cluster, with a direction taken from the two series' own readings. XING lists them; DIFF shows the ones that flipped since the previous run. |
| intersection tree (XT) | one series and every series it has landed with over the retained runs, with how often and for how many data windows. |
| pair | two series side by side: where each stands, the runs in which they shared a position, their recorded interaction on the same dates, and the event days on which both moved. |
| family | series that carry the same information quoted differently (a yield and its bond fund, a spot price and its future, a currency pair quoted both ways). Used only to group a screen when you ask for it; nothing is averaged away. |
| event record (EV) | dated events with their content (a first print against its published expectation, a central bank decision, an auction result) and the families that moved that day, with the surprise (ALIGNED) or against it (OPPOSED). |
| faces | home screens per part of the field: MACRO, COMMODITIES, EQUITIES, BELIEF, CRYPTO, REAL ECONOMY. Click a series in any pane to select it in all of them. |
| watchlist (WL) | series you starred. It is kept in this browser only. |
| GUARD | every run checks the engine against known cases before it is stored. A run that fails says GUARD FAILED on every screen. |
